In the News: Alexandra Receives Award from the YoungArts Program

The Young Arts Program of the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts has awarded Alexandra Hartnett, seven year Rock School Student and Class of 2011 Rock Academic Student (RAPA), an Honorable Mention Level Award in the Dance/Ballet category.

The Young Arts Program is a national organization that recognizes and supports America’s most talented 17-18 year olds in the visual, literary and performing arts.

Dear Alexandra,
We are pleased to inform you that the YoungArts program has awarded you an Honorable Mention Award in DANCE/Ballet.  As a YoungArts 2011 Honorable Mention Award Winner, you have placed in the top 3% of the 2011 YoungArts participant group.  This is an exceptional achievement, and you should be very proud- congratulations!

Ms. Hartnett is also a Yumi Girl for Yumiko World, which you may recognize because of the film Black Swan, which features Yumiko leotards.
